Collection: University of Delaware Special Collections Online Exhibitions and Finding Aids
Description: "Gardeners on Gardening" showcases a selection of books by gardeners who have written with passion about the art of gardening and horticulture. Appealing to botanists, landscape architects, and backyard gardeners, the exhibition includes books from the nineteenth through the twenty-first century. Curator Sally W. Donatello of the Special Collections Department of the Library organized the cases into four categories: editors and writers; horticulturists and garden experts; amateurs and garden lovers; and, artists, historians, and scientists. The following bibliography includes all the books that were seen in the exhibition. This exhibition was on display in the Information Room on the first floor of Morris Library from June 1-August 17, 2004.

Description: As witness to history, photographers endure glorious and unforeseen obstacles to capture a moment that would otherwise be lost. The preservation of a small or monumental instance is the backbone of this visual media. Photography is a silent language that reveals itself through visual storytelling. Its power is insurmountable. The exhibition is organized in four categories: People and places, nature and human nature, photojournalism, and material culture. This exhibition was on display in the Information Room on the first floor of Morris Library from June 13-September 21, 2006.
