Description: According to the Comisión Nacional de los Derechos Humanos website in February 2019, the main objective of the National Commission of Human Rights is the "protection, observance, promotion, study and dissemination of human rights under Mexican law." The Commission also promotes observance of human rights in Mexico, and develops and implements preventive programs on human rights. This website reflects the work done by the Commission. The information archived from this website includes the CNDH Recommendations based on human rights investigations which date from 1990; documentation of constitutional violations dating from 2007; and pronouncements and special reports put out by the Commission dating from 2001. These are all .pdf documents linked from within the archived website. In addition to official documentation, the informational and promotional videos created by the Commission have been archived.
