Description: The mission of Air Force ROTC is to develop leaders of character for tomorrow’s Air Force and Space Force. Air Force ROTC is an educational opportunity designed to prepare men and women to become Air Force and Space Force officers while completing an undergraduate, graduate, or other professional degree program. Air Force ROTC is designed to prepare students to assume positions of increasing responsibility and importance in the modern Air Force. There are two primary routes to an Air Force ROTC commission – three- and four-year programs. Please contact the Department of Aerospace Studies to learn more about limited opportunities to compete in a one- or two-year program. Our departmental office is located in 310 Wright Annex Building and can be reached at 252-328-6597 or by filling out the “Contact Air Force ROTC” form.
