Description: Organization founded in 2011 "Established in 2011, Justice and Rights Institute Nepal (JuRI-Nepal) is a non-governmental, apolitical and non-profit organization working in the field of protection and promotion of human rights and strengthening social justice and rule of law in Nepal. JuRI has a vision of contributing to developing Nepal as a just, peaceful and prosperous society that respects, protects and upholds human rights, including Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of all. Apart from advocacy, capacity-building, monitoring and carrying out research and studies on various themes and subjects pertaining to human rights, strategic litigation has been one of the key approaches and tools JuRI-Nepal has adopted in order to strengthen protection of human rights in Nepal.
