This foundation believes that the preservation of culture and history as well as access to the arts is a central tenant of the quality of life for the citizens of Hawaii. This is done through outreach programs, grants, and education programs in the communities of Hawaii.

Along with showcasing their exhibits on the website they also exhibit in four distinct wings of their museum: Bartlett, Girard, Hispanic Heritage, and Neutrogena.
