Description: The Rose Center Council for the Arts is an organization that is based out of the Rose Center and focuses on folk artists and their works. This center used to be a school and has become the cultural center for Morristown and Hamblen County, Tennessee. The organization puts on a major festival entitled Mount Makins Festival, which focuses on folk arts such as painting, storytelling, and sewing.
