Description: This walking tour was built for the Preserving Historic Places Conference held in Muncie in September 2023. Dr. Wendy Soltz, Director of the Public History Program at Ball State University developed the tour with public history student intern, Austin Kellar, and the Spring 2023 HIST 240: Introduction to Public History class. This walking tour is dedicated to the memory of Mike Mavis (1959-2023) a history buff and Muncie architectural history maven.
