Description: This is Middlebury College’s Oldest Improv Comedy Group. Throughout their twenty-year history, the Otters have produced many celebrated alums including Steve Waltien (Improvised Shakespeare, Second City Mainstage) Jessica St. Clair (Bridesmaids) and Jason Mantzoukas (Parks and Recreation, The League). Historically, the Otters have been a long-form based group, trying different structures from monologue deconstructions to improvised Shakespearean plays. More recently, however, the group has been focusing on the Harold.The Otters have worked with professional improvisers from groups such as USS Rock n Roll and Swords!. The group can be seen in their original web series Public Safety, as well as commentating for the Quidditch World Cup in New York City.
