Description: The Activating the Archives website was created by grunt gallery. grunt invited members of the public into their archive to explore and develop the material, culminating in six diverse websites. The project includes a database of artists and an Activation Map, which allows the user to start a web page and populate it with selections from our database. These pages can be streamed allowing for curatorial selection and classroom use or simply re-mashing works in exhibitions.
