On April 24, 2012 Wilfrid Laurier University announced that it would invite all members of the university to participate in an Integrated Planning and Resource Management initiative to help identify the future priorities of the university and inform the best approach to resource management. The initiative built on the foundations developed through the Visioning Laurier exercise and the Academic Plan to determine how Laurier shape itself for the future. The goal of IPRM was to ultimately arrive at a series of stated priorities for the institution as well as a detailed action plan to implement the goals.
