Description: Founded in 1974, the African American Music Collection collects and preserves personal papers, books, sheet music, printed scores, playbills, sound and video recordings, instruments, photographic material, and other material culture that enhances the understanding of peoples of the African Diaspora. The site was captured annually until its discontinuation after 2011.
