The California Tobacco Control Web Archive is a selective collection of websites produced by government, advocacy groups, bloggers, news agencies, tobacco companies and tobacco-industry front groups related to contemporary California tobacco control public policy efforts such as tobacco tax measures, smoke-free ordinances and retailing limitations.

Title: San Francisco Tobacco Free Project

Description: A project by the San Francisco Tobacco Free Coalition, a grassroots coalition of health, youth-serving, and environmental agencies that advocates for tobacco control ordinances in San Francisco. They have successfully advocated for the banning of vending machines, tobacco and alcohol advertising on city property, smoke-free worksites and restaurants, the prohibition of tobacco self-service merchandising displays, and most recently a tobacco retailers permit ordinance. The site includes a comprehensive guide to building a community action model (CAM).

November 15, 2011, the ordinance was adopted. 2012 and 2013 have seen further ordinances passed including prohibiting smoking in all multi-unit housing with clauses in rental leases.
