Description: We are interested in two major areas of research: one is to define the molecular mechanisms by which endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS)-derived NO controls the endothelial barrier functions to the passage of plasma molecules and inflammatory cells. Another area of research focuses on the role of Nogo-B, belonging to the Reticulon-4 family of proteins expressed in the ER, in vascular function regulation and in cardiac hypertrophy development.
