A new Business Studies for the Americas Program provides focus for the college's Latin American initiatives and offers innovative immersion and short-course programming. As part of the new Bilingual Business Certificate Program, the college offers 12 hours of business coursework in Spanish. The college has also been named the headquarters of the Business Association of Latin American Studies, the largest business academic association in Latin America.

Description: The ExxonMobil Texas Science and Engineering Fair is the State science fair offering two levels of competition: Juniors for students in grades 6 through 8, and seniors for students in 9th through 12th grades. Students enrolled in accredited home-school programs are also eligible. Over one thousand students from 6th through 12th grade compete from all across the state. To qualify for state competition students must win first, second, or third place in their category at an ISEF-sanctioned regional science fair.
