Description:

Throughout recorded history, Nepal has nestled between the giant cultural formations of India to the south and China/Tibet to the north. With the globalization of modern times, international interests and concerns draw Nepal into contact with more distant corners of the world. There are now a multitude of non-governmental organizations at work in Nepal, many headquartered in the Kathmandu Valley. Some are international NGOs and some are purely Nepali, some are long running and some are startups. All of the websites archived here are NGO self-presentations of their aspirations and their achievements on various fronts—humanitarian, environmental, economic, political, religious, and more.

Description: The Relief Trust (Dhukha Niwaran Guthi) Nepal is a non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1974 (B.S. 2030) in Kathmandu by Late Mr Til Bahadur Lokhsum and his friends for humanitarian service, advocacy and social development, at a time when only very few social service organizations were in existence in Nepal. TRT is tax exempted by In-land Revenue Department, Govt. of Nepal.
