We are a small farm winery, on the west side of Keuka Lake, in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. Established in 2006, the first acre of Riesling vines were planted by hand. Zweigelt and Saperavi are vineyards planted along Gallagher Road. The site was chosen for the beautiful view of the lake, the bluff, rolling hills, and excellent soil conditions. Azure Hill Winery produces Rieslings and red wines from estate grown grapes, the Finger Lakes and New York regions. Our most popular wines are our Sparkling Rieslings made in the traditional méthode champenoise style. Leslie Knipe and husband Joe Sheehy, each year allow estate grown grapes; Riesling and Zweigelt to dictate the final product. Leslie has a background is in public relations/media and graphic design, Joe is a former Wine Sales/Educator/Chef."
