Description: When the Ugandan government issued another law making homosexuality illegal, Quakers in Uganda reached out to Olympia Friends Meeting to ask for their help in assisting LGBT folks and their allies. A "Friends New Underground Railroad" was formed, primarily as a funding organization. The name was changed to Friends Ugandan Safe Transport Fund.
