Description:

The materials in this web archive collection on Archive-It.org contain offensive and harmful language and/or imagery including racist and violent references and imagery. Because the websites are not arranged in any particular order, it may be difficult to avoid sites containing racist, and/or violent language and imagery when navigating the collection. The purpose of this note is to give users the opportunity to decide whether they need or want to view these materials, or at least, to mentally or emotionally prepare themselves to view the materials.  Websites in this sub-series were captured using Archive-It web crawling tools and are being made available through Archive-It.org. These include archived websites and webpages in various formats, such as blogs, news websites, and social media related to the “Unite the Rght” rally and its aftermath. Hyperlinks to articles, blogs, listservs, community sites, and other web content created in the wake of August 11 and 12, 2017 were gathered and archived from 2017 through 2020.
