Yukon Archives is responsible for acquiring, preserving, and making available documentary sources related to Yukon and northern history, cultures, and development.

In fulfilling this mandate, the Yukon Archives acquires material from all types of records creators, including government (territorial and municipal), First Nations, corporate, and private sources. Our holdings represent records related to events, experiences, and cultures unique to the North.

The Archives Library houses over 42,000 titles including reports, journals, newspapers, and periodicals.
