At this point in time, at least in the United States, astrology is growing in popularity but is still seen as fringe in nature. I wanted to capture this particular moment in the historiography of astrology and shine light into unheard, “alternative” voices.

Description:
This collection was created in 2019 to document ontemporary ideas about atheism in America, including how atheists represent themselves, how they are described elsewhere, and common issues that merit their attention. The project aims to preserve documentation of a religious
movement that by its very nature lacks established institutions of worship to collect and archive their goals and voices. The goal is to more diversely represent the American public, and to preserve records of atheism for future historical researchers. Selection will include popular blogs, materials from prominent atheist organizations, and individual informational or opinion articles on the topic.

Description:
This collection was created to view the relationship between social media and fishing. Fishing is typically a solitary sport along the small waterways in the United States, but there is something about it that makes people happy, and that is understandable. Many believe that the relationship between fishing and social media is detrimental as it allows multiple people to be exposed to fishing locations that would, earlier in time, been visited by families or friends of families that knew about the locations. The collection will focus on that, but it will also place a heavy focus on the visual enjoyment of people catching fish in these spots that are deemed local. This collection could be used by anyone looking for access to new fishing spots or anyone looking to study the sport of fishing.
