Description: Safe and Sound Denver is a grassroots effort of Denver residents who advocate for the safety and well being of neighborhoods. In Fall 2021, the group supported ballot issue 2F, designed to repeal Denver’s 2021 Group Living Zoning Code Amendment (originally passed by City Council in February 2021). Among other changes to zoning code, the amendment had raised to five the number of unrelated adults permitted to live in a single family home. While the amendment was intended to partially address the housing shortage in Denver, the Safe and Sound group is concerned with the potential quality of life and safety effects the code changes could produce.
