Mount Dora High School, a public high school serving grades 9 through 12, is an active participant in the arts and civic affairs of Mount Dora, Florida. Students representing several clubs and our Junior Air Force ROTC routinely volunteer to assist in Mount Dora's many festivals and events. Although our student population numbers less than 1200, we make a big presence in Mount Dora.

This year, Marlene Straughan's Law Studies class contributed content for the web archiving project and readily share their opinions.

"Web archiving is a unique and important way to capture the essential characteristics of life today, especially the life of teenagers. Our class had a great time participating in this project and we were able to learn a lot about each other and what interests us. It's really neat to think that we are preserving things people will look back on years from now to see what our life was like. This project was not only fun, but allowed us to 'be a part of history' in a way most never imagine."
