Description: From the website: "JusTalks is a student initiative that is part of a campus-wide movement dedicated to building an empathic and self-reflective community. We believe that the first step in this process is to foster dialogue and communication that confronts privilege and engages with difference. Members of our community must have the tools to hold conversations about power structures and identity. JusTalks provides these in an accessible space that allows people to practice vulnerability and resilience. "

Description: This website houses a collaborative project made by Edward Vasquez's spring 2017 course 'Topics in Contemporary Art'. The projects consists in a questionnaire, which was administered to students, and then an online exhibit and sound piece mined from the responses they gave to it. Many of the responses focus on the climate of heightened political and cultural disagreement that pervaded campus following the March 2nd protests, but less overtly topical aspects of student life, from stress and sleep deprivation to party culture, are also widely represented.
