This is an ongoing project involving students in the Rollins College Foundation for Liberal Arts (rFLA) course, Introduction to Photography: Technique, Form, & Content. This course has a special focus on contemporary documentary practice, and as such allows students the opportunity to engage with the ethical considerations inherent in the politics of representation. Students produce individually devised photographic projects intended to contribute to contemporary and future conversations within and about the community of Hannibal Square.

The Apopka Farmworkers Collection documents the health crisis resulting from area farmworkers' exposure to pesticides used in farming, and from exposure to environmental contaminants from nearby sites, around Lake Apopka in Central Florida. Farming in the area began in the 1940s and ended in 1998.
