Description: Established in 1974, the South Carolina Dept. of Consumer Affairs is the state consumer protection agency. It is the administrator and enforcer of the Consumer Protection Code, as well as other regulatory statutes outside the Code. These records may contain minutes, photographs and video of significant events, statistics, agency policies, and other significant and related records.
