Description: Dartmouth Players is the only community theatre in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and remains one of the most successful community theatre groups in Nova Scotia, both theatrically and financially. We are a registered charity and a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the creation of a viable and affordable community theatre in Dartmouth. We are a true amateur group: we pay no wages or salaries, and our members, performers, and technicians contribute and perform simply for the love of theatre. We produce at least four productions per year to an average per-play audience of well over one thousand people and host several guest groups. September 2013 begins Dartmouth Players' 26th season in their theatre home at 33 Crichton Avenue, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Description: Highland Arts Theatre, or "The HAT" as it's affectionately called, is the name of a performance venue in downtown Sydney, Nova Scotia, formerly the home of St. Andrew's Church. When the church was decommissioned in 2013, local musician and businessman Kevin Colford stepped up to transform the beloved historical building into a state of the art centre for arts and culture. The venue officially re-opened in June 2014 with an original musical comedy: "The Wakowski Brothers". While the venue is available for rent and has hosted many of Cape Breton's finest in the fields of music and dance, it is our mandate to create a reliable, professional theatrical presence in downtown Sydney, producing quality productions with a special emphasis on Cape Breton songs and stories. In June 2016, the HAT became a Professional Member of Theatre Nova Scotia.

It has done this by being the only independently operated affordable, accessible, professionally equipped black-box space in Halifax. Description: SECRET THEATRE began in 2003 as a special project of Theatre For Small Audiences, a collaborative and applied research project between Dustin Harvey and Elling Lien (St.John’s) in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
