Title: Mandela Effect - Alternate Memories - Alternate Realities

URL: http://mandelaeffect.com/

Description: In 2010, Fiona Broome, paranormal author/researcher began this site as an online journal discussing a phenomenon she jointly coined as “The Mandela Effect, defined as when a large number of people, mainly total strangers, have the same memory of something but which is different from what can be found in actual physical evidence such as books, newspaper archives, etc. In 2011, the site opened to user comments for discussions on alternate memories beyond just the one of Nelson Mandela dying in prison, and this is when the Berenst(E)ain Bears became one of the most popular topics of the site. In 2016, Broome shut down the user interaction portion as it became out of hand with over 11,000 random comments and redirected visitors who wanted to have discussions to sites such as Reddit and AboveTopSecret. Currently she is working on linking the major discussion threads to one another and evolving the site to a more cohesive resource for information, insights, and scientific news, in order to help further explain and deepen the understanding of The Mandela Effect.
