News articles relating to matters of the University of Louisville’s governance during 2016. In June of that year, Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin dissolved the university's existing Board of Trustees and replaced it with a new, smaller board. The governor also announced that the president of the university, James Ramsey, would submit his resignation to the new board. During the ensuing legal suit, a judge reinstated the original board while the president negotiated his eventual departure.
