Description: This framework will be the basis for developing curricula in specific Aboriginal languages and cultures in Manitoba. It was developed through the collaborative efforts of individuals and groups dedicated to the preservation, revitalization and maintenance of Aboriginal languages and cultures. The framework was influenced by the Western and Northern Canadian Protocol: The Common Curriculum Framework for Aboriginal and Culture Programs: Kindergarten to Grade 12 and recent development in International and Heritage languages in Manitoba and in Western Canada.

Description: We will invest $50 million in additional annual support to the Post-Secondary Student Support Program (PSSSP), providing additional financial assistance to Indigenous students attending post-secondary education. We will also work closely with Indigenous leaders and communities, provinces, and territories to engage Indigenous high school students so that they are aware of the available post-secondary financial support and tools.
