The John Hope Franklin Research Center for African and African American History and Culture in the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library acquires, preserves, and makes available published and unpublished primary sources for the exploration, understanding and advancement of scholarship of the history and culture of Africa and people of the African Diaspora in the Americas. This Archive-It collection preserves web-based materials related to the Center’s collections.
