Description: This exhibit features images of Alice from artists all over the world, starting with Alice's original illustrator Sir John Tenniel. Alice may be a single little girl, but she wears many faces and many bodies. A variety of artists have interpreted Alice and Carroll's other characters in different styles, using different imagery, and with different themes and motivations. It's a particularly fitting situation for Alice, who repeatedly has her identity questioned (not least by herself) throughout the books.
