Title: Allies Against Asthma (University of Michigan) Web Archives

Description: “Allies Against Asthma (Allies) was a national initiative to improve asthma control for children and adolescents. Funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation with direction and technical assistance provided by the Center for Managing Chronic Disease, University of Michigan, Allies supported seven community-based coalitions and their efforts to improve the way asthma is managed in their communities and provides resources and tools to support other asthma coalitions and programs throughout the United States.” The project came to an end in 2006, but evaluation and dissemination continued through 2008. Captures of the website ended in 2011. The site includes the final project report, products of the project, and other information about the program.

Description: The Biometrics and Outcomes Research Core (BORC) of the Department of Biostatistics provides expertise in clinical trial design, outcomes research, quality of life research, database management and data analysis for multi-center clinical trials and multi-disciplinary research by providing staff, facilities, and project managers and monitors for trials and studies. The site provides basic information about the mission, projects, and staff of BORC. Around 2011 BORC was renamed Statistical Analysis of Biomedical and Educational Research (SABER).
