The center conducts research and disseminates results that can help to change policy and practice. Through national and international collaborations the center creates new approaches to disease management and adapts projects and programs for uses in new contexts. This site includes program information, data, documentation, news and publications, and other information about the Center and its mission.

Title: Allies Against Asthma (University of Michigan) Web Archives

Description: “Allies Against Asthma (Allies) was a national initiative to improve asthma control for children and adolescents. Funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation with direction and technical assistance provided by the Center for Managing Chronic Disease, University of Michigan, Allies supported seven community-based coalitions and their efforts to improve the way asthma is managed in their communities and provides resources and tools to support other asthma coalitions and programs throughout the United States.” The project came to an end in 2006, but evaluation and dissemination continued through 2008. Captures of the website ended in 2011. The site includes the final project report, products of the project, and other information about the program.
