Description:

The Harvard University Archives is charged with collecting and preserving the historical records of the University. Much of the information collected for centuries in paper form now resides on University websites. Beginning in February 2007, we began the first phase of our effort to collect this information by harvesting websites from degree-granting departments and committees of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The University Archives now harvests websites from across the University, anywhere from monthly to annually. Title: Mapa : Digital Atlas of Ukraine

Description: The Mapa: Digital Atlas of Ukraine project uses innovative information technology to the study of modern Ukrainian history. The Mapa website contains a gallery of maps on the topics of demography, government policy, and ecology and agriculture, scanned administrative maps of Ukraine, a photo archive on the topics for procurements and dekulakization, collectivization, and famine, and an interactive map. Description: The Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute teaches and researches Ukraine, its religious and ethnic groups, serves as a bridge between Ukrainian studies and those of neighboring countries and develops relations with cultural and academic institutions of Ukraine.
