URL: http://www.philajewisharchives.org/

Description: The Philadelphia Jewish Archives Center (PJAC) was established in 1972 as a joint project between the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Jewish Committee and the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia to collect and preserve the historical records of the Jewish community in the Greater Philadelphia region. In 2009, the Center’s collections became part of Temple University Libraries’ Special Collections Research Center. In 2019, the Center ceased operation after fulfilling its endowment pledge in support of the collections. Website content changes over time, but the Philadelphia Jewish Archives Center’s website has included an organization history and mission statement, board of directors list, and online exhibits.
