Description: The Jewish Publication Society (JPS), originally known as the Jewish Publication Society of America, is a nonprofit organization founded in 1888 in Philadelphia, PA which promotes Jewish heritage and cultural values through the publication and distribution of literary works of Jewish content in the English language. In 2012, JPS entered into a long-term publishing partnership with the University of Nebraska Press to handle production and distribution. Website content changes over time, but JPS' website has included a digital catalog of current publications, press releases, excerpted segments of the JPS Audio Bible, links to external book reviews and articles about JPS, and information on manuscript submission guidelines and donor sponsorship of future publications.
