Description: Archived webpage of the Toronto and York Region Labour Council as part of the Canadian Labour Unions collection. The Council evolved from the Toronto trades and Labour assembly (founded 1871) and is now a central labor body that represents affiliate local union chapters. As such, they are comprised of members from a variety of professions. They stand for justice: economic, social, racial, and climate. Archived content includes council information, affiliates, campaigns, updates, and resources from 2006- present.
