Description: Math is a core class, no matter where one attends school. However, there are always the handful of students who just don't understand the material. Hotmath provides student (for a small fee) the step-by-step solution of the odd number problems in their textbooks. This website has been used by every PVI student at some point.

Description: Soundry is another cool local place for teens to hangout. Unlike the alternative, Jammin' Java, Soundry hosts a variety of acts (poetry, bands, artists, etc). Their website helps teen girls plan their "girls' night out," and artists sign-up to perform.

Description: Wolftrap is the only national park devoted to the performing arts and is located less than ten miles from PVI. Many performances offer lawn seating at a very low price where patrons can picnic while they watch a show. PVI students take advantage of this fun, cultural opputunity. Some of our teachers serve as volunteer ushers at Wolftrap.
