Description: About us: In 2011, 2012 and 2014, All Things Ignatian turned into one of the great events of Creighton's year. On those three occasions, many faculty, staff, administrators and students presented posters that drew hundreds of colleagues each year to a delightful experience of learning, celebrating, congratulating, and being stimulated to think about other creative efforts to implement Creighton's Jesuit Catholic mission. Our focus is again to celebrate Creighton's creativity in living its Ignatian mission during Mission Week September 9 – 13, 2019. Reason for capture: Captured by request preceding revisions to the university's outward facing web-presence.

Description: Reason for capture: Captured as part of ungoing efforts by the Creighton University Archives and Special Collections to archive Fr. Don Doll's photographic work. About us: Magis (pronounced “mah-gis”) is a Latin word that means “more” or “better.” It is related to Ad majorem Dei Gloriam, a Latin phrase meaning “for the greater glory of God.” Magis refers to the philosophy of doing more, for Christ, and therefore doing more for others. It is an expression of an aspiration and inspiration. As a photographer, I see the world through the lens of who I am and the life I’ve lived. I can’t help but photograph from the life of faith that I’ve grown into as a priest over the past 49 years. I photograph to tell the stories of people who have no voice. Hopefull I can help others understand and work to change unjust social structures.

Description: Reason for capture: Captured by request to presere content for use in support of Creighton University Archives and Special Collections' Carlson Fable collections. About us: One of Fr. Greg Carlson's passions is fables. Fables often use animals to move us from awareness to attitude. A fable invites the listener to become more aware of himself/herself. Fr. Carlson has been collecting fables for 40 years. Now the Carlson Fable Collection includes over 10,000 books and perhaps as many fable related objects, titled "Aesop's Artifacts" here. This may be the largest -- perhaps the only -- online collection of fable related objects. There are segments of stories to read and thousands of images to see! Enjoy your stay and come back soon!

Description: About us: From the fall term of 2012 until the fall of 2015 various lectures, convocations, seminars, courses, films and other events would be sponsored focusing on the meaning and impact of the Second Vatican Council. We hope to engage students in scholarship, inviting them to interact with international scholars and give presentations themselves toward developing themes of the Council's influence on their world. We invite scholars from all disciplines on campus to join with us in discovering more fully how the Catholic Jesuit character of our institution, so greatly influenced by the Council and its teachings, could be further enriched and understood by all members of the community whatever their faith or the source of their spirituality might be. Reason for capture: Captured by request preceding revisions to the university's outward facing web-presence.
