Description: "The Correction Asian Jade Society is a fraternal organization with chapters in many of the different branches of law enforcement. The New York City Correction Department Asian Jade Society was founded by correction officer Henry Lee in 1983. At that time, there were only a handful of Asian officers in the Department and so they decided to form this society to share common interests, represent the Asian community within the department with a unified front, and provide support for one another." -- from website, 2021.03.15
