Description: The Georgia Office of Attorney General houses the Attorney General who is the chief legal advisor for the Governor and all state agencies, boards, and commissions. Some duties of the Attorney General include preparing contracts and agreements, prosecuting public corruption cases, and overseeing the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. The office, as a whole, represents the state in all civil cases before any court and all cases before the Supreme Court.
