Description: In Bella Bella, Heiltsuk non-profit QQS Projects Society is providing seeds and soil to residents in what has been dubbed “Granny Gardens” — a modern take on the Victory Gardens of the first and second world wars. The Faculty of Applied Science working with the UBC Botanical Gardens are able to secure a shipment of seeds to support the 50 plus home gardens.
