Description:

The purpose of this web archive is to preserve key resources for scholars and students of medieval music. It will also be a useful record for future generations of scholars interested in seeing how Medieval music was studied using Web resources in the early twenty-first century. Special emphasis has been given to the study of plainchant and music theory.

Title: Monastic Manuscript Project

Description: The Monastic Manuscript Project is a database of descriptions of manuscripts with texts relevant for the study of early medieval monasticism. A list of manuscripts are provided for each text indexed. As a collaborative project, users contribute additional manuscript descriptions and link them with texts. Description and page title added during the initial crawl in 2019.
