Title: Agri-Food Strategy Board

Description: The Agri-Food Strategy Board was established jointly in May 2012 by the then Northern Ireland Executive Ministers for Agriculture and Rural Development, and Enterprise, Trade and Investment. Its role was to develop a strategic action plan to help accelerate the growth of the agri-food industry. The Board published its strategic action plan, Going for Growth in 2013. In February 2015, the DARD and DETI Ministers announced the re-app/ointment of the Agri-Food Strategy Board for a further two years.

Description: In April 2013 a box of old lantern slides was found in the organ loft of Alexandra Presbyterian Church in Belfast. The images were of soldiers and sailors from Castleton Presbyterian Church, Belfast, who served during the First World War. The 77 slides were made by the famous photographer Alex H Hogg who was commissioned in 1918 by Castleton congregation to produce a lantern slide exhibition of their "men at the front". The images include men who died during the war as well as those who survived.
