Established in 1990 in Derry-Londonderry, the Nerve Centre focuses on creative learning, music, film and culture. Supported by a variety of funding bodies including NI Screen, Department for Communities and the Arts Council.

Description: This resource is the creative output of a community engagement programme undertaken at The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) in 2020. Participants on the programme read and transcribed diaries written by 17 women held in the archives at PRONI. The programme allowed them to get to know the experiences of these women first-hand from their own words.
