Description: Website documenting participation by Andrew Steele and Carnegie Institution colleagues in the Arctic Mars Analog Svalbard Expedition, 2010-2012. AMASE was a series of field expeditions conducted annually from 2003 to 2011 in an extreme Mars-like environment for the purpose of testing science questions, protocols, and payload instruments for Mars missions, in particular, detecting traces of organic chemistry.
