  Welcome to Brian Patton’s Blog! I am from Clintwood, Virginia – a small town in the Appalachian Mountains. Clintwood is the county seat of Dickenson County. For my undergraduate degree, in Environmental Science, I attended Emory & Henry College. I graduated with a B.S. in 2001. After undergraduate and a year off, I entered law school at Ohio Northern University, in Ada, Ohio and graduated with a J.D. in December 2004. Ada is also a small town, about an hour’s drive northwest of Columbus and hour’s drive south of Toledo. My hobbies are politics, blogging, nascar, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Currently, I am a member of the Dickenson County Democratic Committee, working for a law firm in Clintwood, Virginia, the Treasurer of the Raising Kaine PAC, and spending the rest of my time volunteering for local and statewide political candidates.
