The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) is a statewide network that provides a diverse fare of television programs to viewers across Oklahoma and in surrounding states. OETA began with one transmitting station, little money, limited broadcast hours and a small, almost immeasurable audience. Today, with OETA's statewide network of four transmitting stations and 15 translator stations, more than 1,800,000 viewers tune into OETA on a weekly basis.

Oklahoma State Legislature’s passage of a concurrent resolution, authored by Representative Barbara Staggs and Senator Ben Robinson, which designated Muskogee as the site of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. Representative Bill Settle continued to champion the cause by securing legislative appropriations that served to further promote the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Concert at the Muskogee Civic Assembly Center.

Description:

The Institute of Egyptian Art & Archaeology, founded in 1984, is a component of the Department of Art of The University of Memphis, in Memphis, Tennessee (USA), and is a Tennessee Center of Excellence. It is dedicated to the study of the art and culture of ancient Egypt through teaching, research, exhibition, and community education.

As part of its research and teaching objectives, the Institute of Egyptian Art & Archaeology, (hereafter IEAA), is engaged with various field projects in Egypt. Currently, the IEAA conducts an epigraphic survey in the Great Hypostyle Hall of Karnak Temple in Luxor, Egypt, sponsors an excavation in the Valley of the Kings at the tomb of Pharaoh Amenmesse, and partners with the Italian Archaeological Mission at the tomb of Harwa at Thebes.
