Description: The Invisible Children website is for an organization which aids children in Uganda. After Uganda ’s current president, Yoweri Museveni, took control, a group of northern fighters called the LRA (Lord’s Resistance Army) lead by Joseph Kony, have terrorized the citizens of Uganda and abducted more than 60,000 children to fill their army. Invisible Children is a nonprofit organization started by three young filmmakers who traveled to Uganda and ended up finding out about how the children there are affected by the fighting. Many schools across America have Invisible Children clubs and the organization’s roadies travel around to different schools showing their main documentary, Invisible Children: The Rough Cut, which can be purchased or seen on youtube.com in various parts.
