After Uganda ’s current president, Yoweri Museveni, took control, a group of northern fighters called the LRA (Lord’s Resistance Army) lead by Joseph Kony, have terrorized the citizens of Uganda and abducted more than 60,000 children to fill their army. Invisible Children is a nonprofit organization started by three young filmmakers who traveled to Uganda and ended up finding out about how the children there are affected by the fighting.
